We all may change

All what we are doing is just for yourself. We are motivated just in the achieving our own goals. I’m writing and learning only for myself and for my future. Not for getting a praise or in order my close people be proud of me. In fact their feelings are not so important as my own. Because it’s not for them. I ask myself, do I want to study and to improve my skills? Do I want to make my life more interesting? Do I want to change something? What do I really want?

Hurry up and don’t waste your time. Learn and explore! Change continuously! Discover the unknown parts of the life. There are a lot of ways we may have to change.

Don’t be afraid to risk.

  • You can find a Strategic Plan of The VGM for period of 2018-2020 years on the site. It is public. Income structure is unique: 50% entrance fees;  35% commercial activities, merchandise, donations, benefactions and sponsorship contribute and 15% comes from governmental subsidy. It is beautiful, functional and comfortable museum that have just one cons. It is a consequence of the success, popularity and well known - a lot of people are visiting the museum every day. They are entering this place in time they want. The busiest times are between 11 am and 3 pm. And as coincidence sometimes you need to wait behind the people back to see the works, because it is crowded a lot. But The VGM know about it too. They understand and build their system as a resource that allows to optimise visitor capacity and to more effectively manage visitor flows inorder to increase the quality of the visitor experience.The online sale of time-slotted tickets is also the key to success when it comes to rising visitor numbers, the distribution of visitors throughout the whole day to achieve optimal use of the building’s capacity. And it is all to improve the visitor experience. I visited a lot of museums in different countries. But among the biggest I remember the Edo Museum in Tokyo, Ermitage and Russian museum in Saint Petersburg, each of them are special and with its own unique atmosphere. But the most amazing museum that surprised us with the scale devoted almost as a whole and completely to a single artist is The VGM.   • In 2017 The Van Gogh Museum (The VGM) was the most visited museum in the Netherlands. My husband and I were visited The VGM in the November of 2018. This museum is a great example of innovation in the Art Management. * There is the largest collection of Van Gogh works in the world (205 paintings, 500 drawings, nearly all of his letters (in excess of 800) and archive material relating to Van Gogh; * Convenient location; * The collection always remains accessible to everyone; * It is comfortable for people with disabilities to visit; * Good navigation inside a huge building among exhibition grounds, floors, staircases; * Clear and understandable descriptions duplicated in English; * The online sale of time-slotted tickets; * Brochures and audio guides in multiple languages; * The multimedia tour as important instrument, also available in multiple languages for children and adults; * Shop of souvenir products and other merchandise; * Dressing room, cafe, toilets and much more.   • Nowadays it looks like a lot of museums are not living in the technology era and like the greatest works of the past, which they thoroughly try to take care of, they are staying motionless and frozen among the world of new discoveries. There are the museums in the little cities, which ones can't find a new way of development and be competitive in comparison with other big art market participants. Now the art places are not only the place to show and conserve the art but also a playground for both sides - visitors and cultural institutions. The mission of every museum, gallery, collection is to actively reach as many people as possible, to involve them in this amazing world of art and heritage. In our days it is important for museums to have the benefit from works and life stories of artists. They are presenting them to the public not only for the purpose of education and enjoyment, but also in the different styles, because we have the possibilities, new ways of digitals and these modern performances are able to be sold better. Museums need to study how to exist not only for showing the visitors the art and heritage of ages. We know that it will touch our emotions and inspire us anyway, but how could we be able to understand, that it is not a waste of time, that it could be good to visit that place, if we know about it nothing?
